From Interstate 5, traveling north or south: (TOLL FREE)
- Go to Oso Parkway exit and turn west (right if you are coming from the north, left if you are coming from the south)
- Oso becomes Pacific Park Drive
- Travel about five miles on Pacific Park Drive - turn left on Wood Canyon Drive
- After one mile, turn right on University
From the South on Interstate 5 via Toll Road (SR73): (TOLL)
- From Interstate 5, take the northbound State Route 73 toll road.
- Travel on the 73 to Aliso Creek - turn left on Aliso Creek, right on Pacific Park, left on Wood Canyon Drive
- After one mile, turn right on University

For a toll-free route take Interstate 5 to Oso Parkway, turn west and follow directions above.

From the North on Interstate 405: (TOLL FREE)
- Take the southbound 405 to southbound Interstate 5

From the East on State Route 55: (TOLL FREE)
- From State Route 55, take the southbound 405 to southbound Interstate 5
- Go to Oso Parkway exit and turn west (right if you are coming south, left if you are coming north)
- Oso becomes Pacific Park Drive
- Travel about five miles on Pacific Park Drive - turn left on Wood Canyon Drive
- After one mile, turn right on University
From the East on State Route 55: (TOLL)
- From State Route 55, take the southbound State Route 73 toll road

From the West on Pacific Coast Highway: (TOLL FREE)
- From Pacific Coast Highway, take Laguna Canyon Rd. (SR133) north
- Travel 3.2 miles on Laguna Canyon Rd. to El Toro Rd. - Turn right on El Toro Rd
- Travel 1.3 miles on El Toro Rd. to Aliso Creek Rd. - Turn right on Aliso Creek Rd
- Travel 2.6 miles on Aliso Creek Rd. to Glenwood - Turn right on Glenwood. Glenwood Drive changes its name to Pacific Park - stay on it.
- Travel to Wood Canyon Drive - Turn right on Wood Canyon Drive
- After one mile, turn right on University
Public Transportation to Soka University
- Currently the nearest bus stop to Soka University is 1 1/2 miles from campus. See the Orange County Transportation Authority for bus schedules and stops.
- The Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo Train Station is 5 miles from campus. You may arrange for taxi service from there. See MetroLink for train schedules.
- A Shuttle Bus from Los Angeles Airport (LAX) to SUA costs about $45 per person one way and will bring you directly to campus. . You don't need reservations. Just walk out to the shuttle bus stop in front of the airport and sign up there. Be sure to get a quote first (there are several different services and prices may vary with gas price increases) and ask for a discount if several people are going to the same destination. Distance is about 50 miles. Expect it to take about 1 hour depending upon traffic.
- Taxi service from LAX costs about $100 one way. Be sure to get a quote first - prices may change with gas price increases.
- John Wayne Airport Orange County (SNA) is located 12 miles from campus and both shuttle buses and taxis are available.
Parking at Soka University
For Athletics: Upon arrival at Soka University, the Athletics Complex is to your immediate right. Parking is to the immediate left in Lot A for spectators, to the immediate right in Lot B for teams and officials, and just past the Gym in Lot C for the Pool. Parking passes are required, and are available at the entrance gate.
For Founders Hall Art Gallery and events in Founders Hall: Park in Parking Lot A.
For Ikeda Library: Park in Parking Lot C
Other events: Ask at the gate as you come in for a map and directions to find the best parking for the event you are attending. Parking is free for most events. International Festival parking (first Saturday in May) is $10.
