Soka University is home to a lot of talented students who have formed over 35 clubs on campus. Performing clubs include orchestra, gospel, chorus, taiko drums, koto, cheer, salsa, Hawaiian dance, Indian dance, hip hop, step dance and break dance. Performing clubs take part in SUA’s annual International Festival and have been featured at the Laguna Art Festival, the Sawdust Festival and other community events.

Rythmission (hip hop) was one of the first clubs formed on campus and is still one of the largest.
Josho Daiko (taiko drums) was a big draw at the 2009 International Festival.

Sualseros (salsa) is a popular club on campus for teaching couple dancing skills and performance.
Ghungroo Indian Dance Club draws large audiences at the International Festival with its engaging and energetic performances.
