I maintain two academic websites relevant to my research and teaching. The history of a six decade
period in the nineteenth century when unfamiliar and destructive epidemics struck Brazil can be explored
at http://www.eraofepidemics.squarespace.com I also am a co-founder, with Marcelo Bucheli, of the United
Fruit Historical Society: http://www.unitedfruit.org Both sites offer material that may be useful for classrooms
or research.
