Delve Deeply Into a Topic You Care About
During your senior year at Soka University, you will explore a topic of your choice during your Capstone Experience. The objective is for you to gain in-depth knowledge about a topic within your field of concentration, drawing upon all the skills and knowledge you have developed during your career at Soka. The Capstone Experience is required for all concentrations.The Capstone Experience will help you to:
- Further develop habits of independent inquiry and study
- Acquire close, focused knowledge of a topic
- Further develop and refine research, writing, and analytical skills
- Enhance your ability to formulate and research a question or set of questions, and produce a coherent and substantial treatment of the chosen topic
