Requirements:   

• GPA 2.75
• 3.0 GPA in most recent Spanish class
• Fall applicants: 4 semesters of college-level Spanish or equivalent
• Spring applicants: 5 semesters of college-level Spanish or equivalent

Academics:

• Academic program for students with a high-intermediate to advanced level of Spanish.
• CIEE students can also take courses in three schools at the Universidad de Alcalá: Philosophy and Letters, Economics and Business, and Law.
• Students take part in the CIEE Community Language Commitment by speaking Spanish at all times.

Housing

• Spanish homestays
• Off-campus residencias with international and Spanish students
