• Students must take a mandatory Advanced Spanish class
• Students can select an optional Costa Rican Culture and Civilization course
• All other courses will be taken at the Universidad de Costa Rica.

• Students will live with a carefully selected Costa Rican host family

International Studies Abroad (ISA)

• Intensive month + Spring 2 (Early Mar - Late Jun)
• Intensive month + Fall 2 (Late Aug - Late Dec)

• GPA - 2.5

• Students will take the "Spanish Language Intensive Month at Veritas" before continuing with the trimester program, "Spanish Language and Electives at Veritas"
• For beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels.
• All classes are at Veritas University with American and other international students.
• Students may complete up to three courses of college level Spanish as well as additional electives in various fields

• Students will live with a carefully selected Costa Rican host family
