Soka University of America (SUA) seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach one or more introductory chemistry, earth, or physical sciences courses as part of its General Education Program. The successful candidate should be prepared to implement student-centered learning in a small-class setting.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in an appropriate area and have relevant teaching experience. Start date for this position is September, 2010. Lectures and laboratories may be taught Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. Salary will be paid on a per-course basis.
