Welcome to Soka University of America and the area of Student Affairs. The Dean of Students is responsible for providing overall leadership for all aspects related to student affairs, including residence life, athletics and recreation, dining services, student health, student clubs, student government, community services and internships, student newspaper and yearbook, counseling, career services and many other areas of student life. Dr. John Heffron serves as the current Dean of Students and also teaches in the undergraduate program as a Full Professor of History.
