NewsOn behalf of the SUA community, The Office of Financial Aid is pleased to announce that the Soka Opportunity Scholarship (SOS) has been expanded to include prorated scholarships for students who come from higher income levels. The traditional SOS provided a full tuition scholarship ($27,214 in 2012-13) for students whose annual family income was $60,000 or less. In an effort to promote greater diversity and access to higher education for both domestic and international students, the income ceiling for the SOS has been raised and students from higher income brackets will receive the scholarship. For more information about the specific requirements, visit the Soka Opportunity Scholarship. |
