Class of 2017 Experience Soka Checklist
- Waiver of Liability
Class of 2017 students’ who are under 18 years of age must have the Waiver of Liability signed by a parent. The waiver permits the student to participate in all event activities.
- A Sleeping Bag and Pillow
Soka does not provide bedding. Please remember, it is essential that you bring your own sleeping bag and pillow.
- A Variety of Clothing
Orange County is warm during the day (about 70 degrees) and chilly at night (40-50 degrees), so please pack accordingly. Dressing in layers is always suitable during April in Orange County. It is best to bring a warm jacket if you plan on attending the BONDFire.
- Family Lodging
Hotel Arrangements (Lodging) are the responsibility of family members. All beds at Soka will be occupied by current during Experience Soka. For this reason, overnight stays for family members in our Residence Halls is not possible. In fairness to all visitors, Soka is not able to make any exceptions to this policy.
Transport to and from campus (Transportation) is the responsibility of each visiting student and family member. Soka does not provide transportation to and from airports or train stations.
