Patrick Boivin comes to us from California State University, Chico where he was an athlete, then coach for the previous 8 years. During his time as an athlete he was a 4 time All-American for the NCAA Division II Cross Country Team. He also helped his team to 4 straight top 5 finishes at the NCAA Championships. He was also a 2 time national qualifier in track in the steeplechase and the 5000 meters. During his post collegiate time he continued running as a member of the Transports Adidas Racing Team based out of Oakland, CA and has improved many of his personal records while doing so and hopes to qualify for the U.S. Olympic Trials in the marathon for 2012. During his coaching at Chico State, Patrick helped guide numerous All-Americans in both cross country and track.
