SUA has been supported by generous individuals all over the world, such as Asia, Oceania, Europe, North & South America, and Africa. In 2008 over 90% of Soka's students, both domestic and international, received financial aid totaling over 8 million dollars; which included nearly 5 million dollars in need-based grants and 3 million dollars in merit-based scholarships.
The mission of Soka University is to “foster a steady stream of global citizens committed to living a contributive life.” Nearly 50% of current students are from 30+ other countries, and all students will participate in a Study Abroad/International Internship during their junior year.
Your generous support enables students from all over the world to receive an opportunity for humanistic education for global citizens.
The ways to give
- Giving online is an easy process that is safe and secure. This allows you to give immediately with your credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express or JCB) in a short and simple process.
- Wire Transfer
- A local bank or other financial institution can transfer the fund. Please contact us by email: jp@soka.edu for the bank information.
- Mail Check
- A cashier’s check or money order can be sent directly to the office of International Development. The denomination should be in US$.
- Please make it payable to “Soka University of America” and mail to the following address.
