Orange County Textures - In the Footsteps of Madame Modjeska by Leonard Myszynski is a series of fine art images of Orange County locations photographed in conjunction with the filming of a documentary directed by Basia Myszynski and filmed by Leonard Myszynski about the iconic actress and first OC celebrity, Madame Helena Modjeska. The film "Modjeska - Woman Triumphant" is currently airing on KOCE-TV (PBS) through September 3rd. The photos represent places visited by Modjeska that inspired many of her Shakespearean roles...and they still exist today!

About the Artist

LEONARD MYSZYNSKI - Photographer & Cinematographer

A native of Poland, Leonard was born in a photography studio owned by his family. While attending the Polish National Film Academy, he was immediately recognized for his artistry as a director of photography and met his partner and future wife, Basia. Together they created short films, winning recognition at international film festivals, and formed sOlar eye communications in the US, a photography and production company. Leonard has received numerous awards for his TV spots, film shorts and photography and his images are part of permanent museum collections.  Leonard is the key cinematographer for OC Influential Productions, LLC, created to make films about persons who have contributed to the development, art and culture of Orange County.  Contact: leonard@solareye.biz
