Lecture: In This Economy: Of Language: A Craft Talk with Jericho Brown

At this talk, award-winning poet Jericho Brown will focus on what has become the preeminent form of American poetry: the lyric poem.  By analyzing a few poems from a craft perspective, Brown will suggest some of the basic strategies that make lyric poems work.  Students, fans of literature, and enterprising writers are encouraged to attend.
