Soka University’s Annual International Festival is held on the first Saturday of May. The International Festival, which is part of Orange County’s Imagination Celebration (www.sparkoc.com), features over 900 international musicians and dancers performing continuously on three stages, international food, art exhibitions, ceramic sales and demonstrations, games, inflatable rides and over 250 non-profit and business exhibitors. Thanks to The Orange County Register for printing the program and for being our Presenting Sponsor.
Attendees are encouraged to wear international attire and to celebrate their own heritages. Admission is free to encourage family participation. Parking on campus is $10. Parking at the Ziggurat (Chet Holifield Federal Building, 24000 Avila Road, Laguna Niguel) is free with shuttle service every 30 minutes beginning at 10 am. Food, games and vendor wares are all priced individually. There is only one ATM machine on campus and it's quite a walk - so please plan ahead!
Exhibitor registration is open until April 30. Non-profit organizations may reserve a table and 2 chairs for $85. Businesses may reserve space for $175. Canopies may also be rented for $35 and electrical connections are an additional $35.
Volunteer Performer is closed. Performing groups representing international cultures are encouraged to apply early in January for the May 4, 2013 Festival because stage time fills up quickly.
