CASE 2011 CEO Winner: SUA President Daniel Y. Habuki

SUA President Daniel Y. Habuki  Our very own SUA President Daniel Habuki was recently selected as the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education's (CASE) CEO Award winner for 2011.  He joins the ranks of many prominent recipients in the past including Chapman University's President James L. Doti and President Laura Skandera Trombley of Pitzer College at Claremont, California.  President Habuki was officially recognized at the CASE luncheon on March 4, 2011.

As mentioned on CASE's website, "In the words of his nominator, Danny has one-on-one meetings with every student. He helps them set goals and monitors their progress, their involvements, and their aspirations. He is involved in all hiring decisions. His success is evident: the faculty members are accomplished and have developed a rigorous academic program that includes a mandatory study abroad requirement. I know of no other individual who planned every detail of an institution and led it to national prominence within ten years of its opening."  For more details, please visit CASE's website by clicking on the link
