Message from the Dean of Students
Toward that end, we put the greatest emphasis on the development of our students as whole individuals. Being a small university, we pride ourselves on being able to make personal connections with our students. It is through these connections, not only in the classrooms, but in their residence halls, athletics fields, and in various student activities, that we are able to provide the care, attention, and support they need for their personal growth.
Student Affairs is comprised of the Office of Student Activities, Office of Student Services (including counseling, disability services, health services, dining services, and shuttle services), Office of Residential Life, Athletics and Recreation, Career Services/Internships, and other areas of student life. We also work and collaborate with student government, clubs and organizations, and the student newspaper. Our dedicated staff deeply care for each and every student and truly enjoy working together as collaborative partners with students. Please be assured that we are here to provide the assistance necessary for students to have the most meaningful and successful educational experience.
I hope the information available online helps you better understand student life and Student Affairs at SUA. Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of assistance to you.
Hyon Moon, Ed. D.
