I am a food and applied microbiologist involved in research concerned with pathogen detection, characterization, pathogenesis and antimicrobial resistance. Alongside this, I formulate functional foods with the aim of enhancing gut health. My experience encompasses instructing several microbiology courses catering to both undergraduate and graduate students.
