    Accelerated Masters Programs

    Take courses at Soka that count toward or prepare you to earn master’s degrees at University of San Diego’s Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies, The Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, and Claremont Graduate University.

    Graduate School Advising

    This program supports students interested in continuing their education after SUA. Services include assistance with researching graduate schools, review of CVs and personal statements, and group workshops. Reach out in your first year at Soka to start developing a plan for applying to master’s programs. Professor Diya Mazumder is the graduate adviser.

    After Soka: Graduate Scholarships

    Graduating SUA students who will be attending graduate school the following fall may apply for the following two scholarships:

    The Makiguchi Memorial Educational Fund Merit Scholarships award $10,000 to students who will be attending graduate school this fall.
    The Dr. Lei Loi Tak Scholarships award $10,000 to students who will be enrolling in the CGU (Claremont Graduate University) MA/MS/MBA programs this fall.

    A limited number of scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit and service to the University community. The scholarships must be used toward the first year of graduate studies in the academic year after graduation.

    If you believe you are eligible, please submit the Qualtrics application for these scholarships between March 5th and May 5th of each year.
