How to Apply for Financial Aid - International Students

IMPORTANT DEADLINES AND INFORMATION

Fiancial Aid Application Deadline March 2nd
Deadline to Submit All Required Documentation May 1st

 REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION TO APPLY

Student Information:

  • International Student Financial Aid Application
  • Student 2011 Income and Tax information - Documentation must cover January 1, 2011 through Decemebr 31, 2011 and be officially translated and converted into US dollars. Both the original and converted document(s) are required.
  • Bank statements (copies of the most current bank statement(s) - Must be officially translated into English and convereted into US dollars. Bank statements can use current exchange rates.  

Parent Information:

  • Parent(s) 2011 Income and Tax information – Documentation must cover January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011 and be officially translated and converted into US dollars.  Both the original and converted document are required. If your parent(s) filed a United States Tax Return the additional documents are required:
             Parent(s)  2011 Income Tax Transcript
             Parent(s) W-2 Form(s)
  • Bank Statements (copies of the most current bank statement(s) – Must be officially translated into English and converted into US dollars.  Bank statements can use current exchange rate.

INCOME TRANSLATION AND CONVERSION INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS AND PARENTS:

The term "officially translated" means that you have employed the services of a bank, accountant, translation service or similar to perform your translation.  The translation must list the total income for 2011 in both your native currency and US dollars using the exchange rate effective December 31, 2011.  Additionally, the exchange rate and date of the rate used included on the form.

The Financial Aid Office maintains the right to request additional documentation such as, but not limited to, income verification, non-taxable income certification, verification of non-filing status, bank/investments, verification of household size and number in college.
