The Festival of Tabla™ (FOT) is a 2-day vibrant musical experience, focusing on the art of Tabla solo performance. Come be captivated in two full days of Indian Classical Music and Arts by the various instrumental virtuosos, vocal maestros, and mesmerizing dance pieces from India and around the world. The experience is beyond the music, it is total immersion!

Festival Passes include access to amazing world class performances by local and international artists throughout the day + entrance to the extensive selection of educational Indian Classical Ragas, Talas, and Dance workshops which happen simultaneously in the adjoining Black Box Theatre. Passes also include a delightful vegetarian lunch & dinner, as well as refreshing chai & coffee with snacks.
All tickets must be exchanged for wristbands at the venue starting 1 hour prior to event. Infants on laps do not need tickets.

Sunday August 17, 1:30pm: Michael Lewis and Dave Lewis - A Musical Conversation. Michael Lewis will talk about his journey with Ustad Zakir Hussain in all the years together and the collaborative work they did together.
Sunday August 17, 7:45pm: Short film in memory of Ustad Zakir Hussain
Sunday August 17, 8:00pm: Grand Finale by Pandit Yogesh Samsi - specially invited from India for this occasion, Yogesh learned from Ustad Zakir Hussain’s father Ustad Alla Rakha and will present a masterful solo in memory of Ustad Zakir Hussain.
