Honored as a 2010 Jazz Master by The National Endowment for the Arts, Kenny Barron captivates audiences with his elegant piano playing and infectious rhythms. The Los Angeles Times hails him as “one of the top jazz pianists in the world,” and Jazz Weekly lauds him as “The most lyrical piano player of our time.”

Starting his career in Philadelphia, Barron has collaborated with jazz legends such as Dizzy Gillespie, Roy Haynes, and Stan Getz. A prolific artist, he boasts over 40 recordings as a leader, with recent highlights including the solo piano album The Source (2023). Beyond his musical prowess, Barron has received thirteen Grammy nominations, the Lifetime Achievement Award from Spanish ceramist Lladro, and multiple honorary doctorates. A seven-time recipient of Best Pianist by the Jazz Journalists Association, Kenny Barron continues to shape the jazz landscape with his timeless artistry.
