“Cho is a master. He displayed an impressive variety of tonal colors and remarkable technique, dispatched with jaw-dropping panache. He had something to say and communicated it well.” - The Wall Street Journal
“To hear Cho breathe tenderness and freedom into this music while giving it a sturdy rhythmic profile was a striking thing.” - San Francisco Chronicle
With an overwhelming talent and innate musicality, rising star pianist Seong-Jin Cho returns in recital to Soka Performing Arts Center. After graduating from the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in 2015, he won First Prize at the Chopin International Competition in Warsaw, and in the following year he signed an exclusive contract with Deutsche Grammophon.
