Assistant Director of Student Organizations & Inclusion Programs

…the compassion to see [personal experiences] as the common thread that connects me to our collective humanness.
What principles guide you through life, and how has your work at Soka shaped these principles?
“I connect deeply with the elements of a global citizen with wisdom, courage, and compassion. I can reflect on several personal experiences that I have had the courage to overcome, the wisdom to see it as a learning experience, and the compassion to see them as the common thread that connects me to our collective humanness.
“I get to live and learn constantly from students, staff, and faculty how we individually navigate the act of becoming a global citizen, recognizing that it is different for each of us. I get so much joy from sharing space with people that are deeply committed to making Soka a more inclusive place where everyone feels a sense of belonging.”
