Checklist: How to Apply

Download and submit the International Graduate Student Financial Aid Application. The application opens October 1. Submit by February 15 to receive an estimated aid offer with your admission decision in March. The priority deadline is March 2 — late applications may affect your eligibility for need-based grants. You'll need to include officially translated copies of your and your parents' income tax returns.

If you have trouble accessing this form, contact the Office of Financial Aid for assistance.

Upon review of your application, the Office of Financial Aid may request additional verification documents. Any required items will appear in your To Do list in your Learn Account.

You'll receive an official aid offer with instructions to accept or decline online through your Soka account. You are never required to accept loans. If you accept a Soka Loan and have already completed a Master Promissory Note for a previous Soka loan, you do not need to repeat that step.

If you accept a Soka Loan, you'll need to complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN), Entrance Counseling, and a Self-Certification Form. Contact the Office of Financial Aid to schedule a debt counseling session if you have questions about how much to borrow.
