International graduate students are eligible for need-based financial aid at Soka. The international graduate financial aid application is expected to be available on November 1. Submit by February 15 to receive an estimated aid offer with your admission decision in March.
These dates apply to all international graduate applicants. Aid offers are released the second week of March. Verified aid packages are released the first week of June. Financial aid disbursement for fall semester occurs the first week of classes.

You are encouraged to apply by February 15 to receive an aid offer in March. Submit your completed application and all supporting financial documentation by the priority deadline. Submit no later than March 2 to be considered for priority funding — late applications may affect your eligibility for need-based grants.

Upon review of your application, the Office of Financial Aid may request additional verification documents. Any required items will appear in your To Do list in your Learn Account.
You’ll receive an official aid offer with instructions to accept or decline online through your Soka account. You are never required to accept loans. If you accept a Soka Loan and have already completed a Master Promissory Note for a previous Soka loan, you do not need to repeat that step.
If you accept a Soka Loan, you’ll need to complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN), Entrance Counseling, and a Self-Certification Form. Contact the Office of Financial Aid to schedule a debt counseling session if you have questions about how much to borrow.
