Paying for college shouldn’t be a barrier to coming to Soka. International students are eligible for need-based financial aid through the Soka International Student Financial Aid Application.
These dates apply to all international undergraduate applicants. Aid offers are released the second week of March. Verified aid packages are released the first week of June. Financial aid disbursement for fall semester occurs the first week of classes.
Download and submit the Soka International Student Financial Aid Application. You are encouraged to apply by February 15 to receive an aid offer in March. Submit your completed application and all supporting financial documentation by the priority deadline. Submit no later than March 2 to be considered for priority funding — late applications may affect your eligibility for need-based grants.

Upon review of your application, the Office of Financial Aid may request additional verification documents. Any required items will appear in your to do list in your Learn account.
You'll receive an official aid offer with instructions to accept or decline online. You are never required to accept loans.
If you accept a Soka Loan, the Office of Financial Aid will contact you with instructions for completing your Master Promissory Note (MPN), Entrance Counseling, and Self-Certification Form. Contact the office to set up a debt counseling session if you have questions about how much to borrow.
