Student Life

For me, leadership is using my capacity to work behind the scenes and to serve the community members and beyond.

Leadership is being there for the people that you are supposed to lead. It does not put you above your club members or teammates; it only means that when they need help you are there for them.

Being a member of the SUA community is such a great opportunity for me to joyfully struggle and strive to be leaders of the global community. My growth never stops thanks to everyone!

All the underclassmen are kind of like my little siblings! It makes me feel more responsible and I want to be a good role model for them.

Being a student leader means having awareness of yourself and the role you have in supporting others.

I believe being a student leader is using your gifts, passions, and personality to give back to others and the entire campus community in your own unique way.

Ultimately, there’s a difference between doing good and actually being 'Good'; one must approach ASB with the intention of understanding both.

For every decision I now make, I try to analyze and predict the unintended consequence it may have on people around me.
