Special Precautions

March 19, 2019 (update): The safety and health of our community and visitors is very important to us. Given the underlying uncertainty of the coronavirus situation, we are monitoring the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) closely.

While there are no active COVID-19 cases on campus, Soka University has decided to take special precautions. Since March 10, the Office of Admission has been regretfully canceling organized individual and group campus tours, and events. Visitors who have been invited and/or registered will be contacted.

Currently, the Office of Admission is continuing to review and process materials and assist students with their application materials, enrollment checklists, and processes.

It is our hope to return to welcoming visitors; until we reach what we consider a “normal” time, we will provide updates for future opportunities by email and on this webpage. Community measures and information can be found on our university Coronavirus Update and Precautions webpage.
