In collaboration with the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation founded by David Krieger in 1982, the Soka Institute for Global Solutions will organize the event to honor the legacies of Daisaku Ikeda and David Krieger, two champions of the nuclear disarmament movement, and reflect on the relevance of their dialogue, entitled “Choose Hope,” to the new world order today. It provides a space for continued engagement and renewed inspiration toward a world free of nuclear weapons, to carry on the legacies of the Ikeda-Krieger dialogue and keep choosing hope amid the mounting challenges of the present era.
