The Founding Spirit Committee would like to invite you to the Founding Day Celebration, happening at the Soka Heritage Hall. We know that most of us are busy as we are heading toward the end of the semester but, we promise this event could be a turning point in your life!

We are going to commemorate May 3rd as the Soka Founding Day and will discuss the significance of this day and what the Soka founding spirit means. We are honored to invite two precious guests: Gail Thomas, the Professor Emerita of Sociology, and Melody Murakami, the Special Projects Coordinator and Assistant to the Dean of the Students.

We'll have the opportunity to hear their thoughts. We also encourage you all to participate in this dialogue space after the guest speaker session. Let's make the most of the founding spirit celebrations and reflect on our purpose and mission as a member of the Soka community.

This event is free and open to all in the SUA community, students, staff, and faculties. Refreshments, including pizza, sushi, and boba will be provided.

Please do not forget to RSVP! (You can copy and paste the following link if the hyperlink doesn't work: )
