The Pacific Basin Research Center was established in 1991 by SUA founder Daisaku Ikeda to advance research leading to the peaceful development of the Asia-Pacific region. We aim to serve the SUA, national, and international scholarly communities interested in the issues concerning the Pacific Basin.
