On May 3, the Campus Green blossomed with laughter, games, and meaningful reunions during SUA’s first homecoming celebration. As children of staff and alumni jumped in a bouncy house and students competed in spirited rounds of soccer tennis and arcade basketball, alumni reunited with their former classmates and professors over tacos and burgers from local food trucks. There was something for everyone: giant Tetris blocks, shaved ice, hip-hop dance performances, and even a birthday cake honoring SUA’s founding.

Katherine King, executive vice president of university community, described Homecoming as “a joyful day of connection, community, and celebration.” The spirit of the day was evident in every smile and heartfelt conversation under the trees circling the green as we celebrated the heart of what makes SUA so special: its people.

We invite you to enjoy a photo gallery and relive the excitement of what is sure to become a beloved tradition at Soka.
