Dear Joy,
I wanted to take this time to thank you for all of the help I received from you this semester throughout the capstone writing process. I remember our first appointment together, when I spent the whole hour telling you about my topic, and you were just so enthusiastic about and interested in my topic, that it just made me feel really good about my topic and really confident in what I was writing. I was pretty vulnerable at the beginning of the semester because I wasn’t really sure about the point or significance of my capstone, but your enthusiasm and support from the get-go reminded me that what I was writing about was cool and important, and for that I am very grateful to you!
I also appreciate you helping me on shortening some of my sentences or making sure there was some variety in the lengths, I think that really helped me produce a capstone that is more “reader-friendly.” So thank you again for all your help throughout this process! After graduation, I will be taking a year off during which I hope to find an internship in preparation for grad school. Have a great summer!
