About the Recreation Center

The Soka University Recreation Center is your space to move, recenter, and connect as a member of our campus community. Inside, you’ll find multiple weight rooms with free weights, machines, and cardio equipment, along with a gymnasium, Olympic size pool, tennis courts, outdoor track, racquetball courts, aerobics room, locker rooms, and showers.

Drop in for a solo workout to clear your mind and boost your energy, join one of the fitness classes to stay consistent with your goals, jump into intramural sports, or explore beyond campus through our Outdoor Adventure program.

Open only to current students, staff members, or faculty members, the Recreation Center is here to support your well-being and help you find your place on campus.

Monday – Friday 7am-10pm

Saturday – Sunday 11am-5pm

Outdoor Adventure

Recreation and leisure activities are an important part of a well-balanced lifestyle and integral to the complete collegiate experience. Therefore, opportunities to recreate and explore off campus are also offered each semester.
