Bridges to Business
Bridges to Business (B2B) is a business leadership program that helps students connect their Soka education to business, entrepreneurship, and social impact opportunities through multiple campus initiatives.

Team B2B
B2B is a business leadership, coaching, mentorship training program for second-year students. It spans the academic year and includes 10 high-level workshops at UC Irvine’s Beall Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The program culminates in participation in UCI’s New Venture Competition. Application and acceptance required.

Enactus
Enactus is a global experiential learning platform dedicated to developing the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders and social innovators. It offers multiple opportunities for students to network with peers and leading employers while receiving training and real-world business experience.

IMPACTATHON
B2B produces a campus-wide IMPACTATHON, a fast-paced day-long social impact business pitch event open to students and alumni interested in creating market-based, impact-driven solutions that align with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

Start-Up Boot Camp
This pilot program funds six to eight enterprising students for a month of free campus meals, housing, office space, and business mentorship so they may spend the month of June building their businesses. Application and acceptance required.

Learning Cluster Support
B2B supports faculty in connecting Learning Clusters to experiential learning opportunities to meet leaders and visit organizations that operate in the social impact, entrepreneurship, and business sector.

Conference Partnerships
Collaboration with faculty and students to produce conferences that highlight social enterprise, economic development, career, and business opportunities with a focus on positive social impact and the triple bottom-line: people, profit, and prosperity.
