SUA offers a study abroad program at Universitat de Valencia through ISA. This program is suited for students with intermediate to higher-level Spanish proficiency.
Location
Located on the Mediterranean coast, Valencia is Spain’s third-largest city with a total population of nearly 2 million.

Food
Due to its proximity to the ocean, Valencia is world-renowned for its fresh paella, a dish made with rice and seafood.

Museums
Known as the City of Arts and Sciences, Valencia has futuristic structures including a planetarium, an oceanarium, and an interactive museum.
Access to efficient public transportation, a cheap café culture, and lots of affordable discotecas gave me ample space to explore a new culture and a new side of myself.
Program Characteristics
The fall semester takes place from late August to late December. The spring semester takes place from early-January to mid-May.
2.5 GPA
You are required to take the Hispanic studies program taught by university faculty. The program offers many content courses for intermediate/advanced students designed for international students.
You will live with a Spanish host family close to the university and you may bicycle to campus.
