SUA offers a study abroad program at Universidad de Granada through ISA. This program is best suited for students with higher-level Spanish proficiency.
Location
Granada is located in the southern Andalusia region, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Architecture
Granada is known for grand examples of medieval architecture, exemplified by cathedrals and palaces in and around the city.

Parks
Granada has a number of significant parks and gardens, including gardens of Alhambra and Generalife.
Granada was such a beautiful city, people were nice, my host family was amazing, and I was satisfied with academics too.
Program Characteristics
The fall semester takes place from late August to late December. The spring semester takes place from early January to late May.
2.5 GPA
You are required to take either Spanish language culture and electives or Hispanic studies. The fall program offers a pre-semester Spanish intensive course.
You may take four or five excursions to places such as Cordoba, Las Alpujarras, Madrid, Malaga, Morocco, Nerja, Ronda, Sevilla, and Toledo.
You will live with a Spanish host family which provides three meals a day and laundry.
